Michilae Herring is the mother as father said Javeayah Harris was playing a chicken coop while he went out to wash clothes in new recording.
Officials said the case remains a missing child investigation with no answers into her disappearance.
Investigators said Javeayah was last seen around 8:15 p.m. near Hillsboro Street and Ridgecrest Road.
She is described as 3 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs about 42 pounds, and was last seen wearing Minnie Mouse pajamas with pink beads in her braided hair.
Authorities said she also may have been wearing Crocs.
