Six assailants surrounded Chicago drill rapper BloodHound Q50 killing him during a brazen ambush early Sunday at a Fuller Park gas station on the South Side, new details from a Chicago police report show.
The rapper, identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Mikquale T. Cooper of River North, was behind the wheel of a white Tesla when he drove into a BP at 4248 S. Wentworth. Ave. around 4 a.m. and parked, according to the report.
A black Infiniti with two people inside wearing black face masks then arrived and parked right next to Cooper. Moments later a silver Honda Accord with four occupants pulled up to pump 8, the report said.

As Cooper and his front seat passenger, a 29-year-old Matteson woman, entered the gas station, one of the masked people in the Infiniti walked over to the Honda and “removed objects from inside the vehicle,” before going back into the Infiniti, according to the report.
At that point, the 29-year-old woman left the station, drove the Tesla up to the front entrance of the BP and got out, letting Cooper get behind the wheel, the report said.
Suddenly, two masked gunmen from the Infiniti and four gunmen from the Honda approached the Tesla and opened fire, hitting Cooper in the chest and shoulder, officials said.
Cooper was treated by Chicago Fire Department personnel and pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy was scheduled.
