Woman selling Valentine’s Day baskets says she was hit in the face and robbed of merchandise
Kim Braxton tells me she was selling the gift baskets Saturday on Detroit’s East Side. She says three males came up to ask about pricing. Then she was hit in face and all her baskets were stolen.
It happened in the area of Houston Whittier and Gratiot.
A police report was taken. It’s unclear if any nearby security cameras caught the getaway car.
She said she started making the baskets in memory of her mother and does it every year.
