According to information, Kaylie Imrealllypretty stabbed her teacher, Jason Rader, after being obsessed with him.
A teacher at Billings Senior High School is in stable condition after being attacked and sustained stab wounds on Tuesday at about 4:23 p.m., after regular school hours.
School staff immediately notified 911 and placed the building into a lockdown.
Law enforcement has confirmed that all parties involved have been accounted for and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The District is working closely with the Billings Police Department as this remains an active criminal investigation.
All classes and extracurricular activities at Senior High School were canceled for Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Students and staff returned to the building on Thursday, a crisis support team and counselors will be available to help the school community process the incident.
Further details are not being shared at this time to respect the privacy of the staff member and the integrity of the police investigation.
