In the late hours of Tuesday, Chantel Marie, took to her Facebook page to cry out that a man suspected to be her BD sent her threatening text message.
She posted his text messages on her page as a proof or evidence. According to the Anniston Police Dept, they are currently at her home and she’s safe.
The Anniston Police Dep:
“The Anniston Police Department is aware of a social media post circulating in which a female stated she was in danger. Officers responded to the address listed in the post and did not locate her at that location. We have since confirmed that another law enforcement agency made contact with her in a different jurisdiction, and she was found to be safe.
“We understand the concern this post generated and appreciate the community’s willingness to report it. We have received numerous calls regarding this matter and want to reassure the public that the situation has been addressed.
“As always, we remain committed to responding promptly and working with our law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of our community.”
