Mystery African woman was with British tourist ‘before ‘he was murdered’ in Bangkok
This is the mystery African woman that the dead British tourist Joshua Kershaw, 21, spent his final hours with – as fears emerged he was murdered or accidentally killed.
The tourist arrived in Thailand and went straight to his hotel on Sukhumvit 7/1 in Bangkok before venturing out to nearby bars where he began drinking with the foreign girl.
But at around 2:20 am he collapsed on the floor of a venue as the African woman in a beige dress stood watching. Joshua was taken to the hospital but checked himself out an hour later.
He had a few more beers in the same street and returned to his hotel room at around 5:30am but was found dead by a maid the next afternoon.
Joshua’s mum, Jenny, claims that toxicology results found ‘a combination of seven different substances in his system at extremely high levels’. She claims the case is now being investigated for ‘murder or manslaughter’.
Raising further questions, the police officer who first arrived at the scene failed to inform the British Embassy of the young man’s death.
‘He watched the CCTV and closed the case,’ a police source said. ‘There are so many foreigners dying in Bangkok from drugs, he didn’t think there was anything suspicious.’
