INFANT SAFE AFTER SHOCKING INCIDENT IN NATCHEZ
Natchez Police Department have arrested 27-year-old April Alexander on an attempted murder charge after disturbing photos and videos involving her 4-month-old baby were reportedly sent to the child’s father.
Police say the father contacted 911 after receiving the content. Authorities later located the infant, who is now safe and in the custody of Child Protective Services.
Two additional individuals — Jessica Griffin and Dandridge Coats — were also arrested. Investigators say they attempted to hide Alexander while officers were searching for her. Both are now facing charges related to hindering prosecution.
This case remains under investigation.
