Memphis Police say a woman is dead after a child shot her in Hickory Hill on Friday afternoon.
Memphis Police responded to a shooting on East Shelby Drive near Riverdale Road at 2:53 p.m. According to police, the child accidentally shot her.
The woman was reportedly pronounced dead on the scene. Memphis Police did not disclose the child’s age.
Memphis Police say the investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
