Twitter is currently on fire as Americans are calling for Jake Lang to be locked up for a long period of time over his pedophilia exposure.
Screenshots circulating online show messages allegedly sent by Jake Lang during a sting operation in which an adult posed as a 15-year-old girl. While the account was not actually a minor, the person repeatedly stated they were 15 years old during the conversation.
In the messages, Lang acknowledges the age and continues communicating, even asking when the person would turn 16 and discussing meeting in person. The exchange has drawn strong backlash online, with many pointing out that the concern isn’t the sting itself, but the willingness to engage with someone believed to be underage.
No real minor was involved in this operation. But the messages are raising serious questions about Lang’s conduct and what the situation could have been if the person on the other end had actually been a child.
