Suspects escaped in a black Benz GLK after they shot LD dead after prom on Shelby Dr & Elvis

The Memphis Police Department is investigating after an 18-year-old was shot and killed in Whitehaven in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of Elvis Presley at 1:41 a.m.

According to police, the victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.

MPD reports the suspects were last seen in a black Mercedes GLK.
