I’ve been trying to get answers and help baby in whatever way I could since the day he went to the hospital.”
Family members of a man who died in December say the information they’re receiving about his death is inconsistent.
Gainesville Police Department officers say Tyrone Davis Jr.’s death is not suspicious, but family members don’t believe he jumped out of a moving car.
On Dec. 27, officers came to an area of Southwest Archer Road near the I-75 overpass after receiving reports of an injured person. Detectives say their initial investigation determined Davis jumped out of a moving vehicle while in traffic, sustaining significant injuries to his head. After a few days at the hospital, he died.
Family members say they don’t believe he would jump out of a car, and say it doesn’t make sense why his girlfriend, who was supposedly driving, would leave him on the side of the road.
ANALYSIS: “He said Jason was at the cabin, and at the hospital. He was at one time Dro’s opps. He stated that he wanted Dro’s life. He and lulu were very close. He was always with them on their vacations. And he was the one that brought lulu to the cabins that night. Lulu said she got a uber there. Plus he just purchased a bmw for his sister.”
