A violent incident occurred at the Circle K gas station in Hot Springs and I received a call around 2 am from a concerned citizen soliciting my assistance in aiding the police investigation into a serious assault implicating Cooper Camferdam of Benton.
The Hot Springs Police Department subsequently informed me that my provided information would not lead to further action due to the victim’s decision not to press charges.
Based on the video evidence law enforcement had seen it was apparent that the incident was not merely a minor scuffle between youths but rather a severe assault potentially amounting to attempted murder.
