Patines Reyes is currently in police custody after he killed Brithany Nahomy Reyna and buried hrr body a shallow grave.
The body located inside a well in a shallow terrain in the Barrio de la Industria sector, northwest of Monterrey, would belong to Brithany Nahomy, a teenager of just 15 years old reported missing since last January 26 in the Croc colony.
According to preliminary information, the minor was located wrapped in plastic bags and would have had at least one bullet impact.
The initial investigations point that the alleged responsible is José, 16 years old, aka “Patines”, who apparently maintained a romantic relationship with the young woman.
According to the inquest, the teen allegedly deprived Brittany of liberty for an undetermined amount of time before murdering her. After the crime, he wrapped the body, got a beak, shovel and a cart, took the remains out to the street and literally walked the corpse several blocks until he chose the exact spot where he dug a well to bury it in a waste of Solidarity City.
He then returned to his normal life.
Since the disappearance report, Jose was listed as the prime suspect. Prosecution officers questioned him at least twice and kept him under surveillance, until the evidence became overwhelming and forced him to confess, revealing the site where he had hidden the body.
Elements of the Missing Persons Prosecutor’s Office managed to arrest, while experts perform DNA tests to officially confirm the victim’s identity.
“I was the last one to see her”
In an interview, Socorro, aunt of Brithany, reported that the minor warned her mother that she would leave for her boyfriend’s house only to leave him a chappie.
“She told my sister that she was going to leave her a boat and come back,” he reported.
The boyfriend himself confirmed that version: Brithany arrived, delivered the garment and stayed in the place for a few minutes. Later, a motorcycle arrived, at the moment when the young man said to the minor: “I’m leaving, because my brother has arrived,” and withdrew.
Brittany hasn’t returned home since.
Socorro claimed she was the last person in the family to see her alive.
After knowing the body was found, relatives immediately rushed to the well site, where a strong ministerial operation was deployed.
In parallel, authorities searched the home where the minor was last seen, as well as other properties, looking for more evidence to strengthen the investigation folder.
The alleged feminicide4 remains in custody, but for dealing with a minor he will face a special trial for teens, which could result in a reduced sentence, a situation that has generated deep social outrage.
That’s why the aunt of the minor asked for justice for her niece and that not because she’s a minor they’re going to let him out of jail soon and return to do the same with other little girls.
So far the minor’s father and grandfather were summoned to the Forensic Medical Service to identify Nahomi’s human remains.
