A homicide investigator wrote in Blake’s criminal complaint that she was charged based on the investigation, “which includes evidence at the crime scene, statements made by the defendant during 911 calls and other witness accounts (which show) that Jasmine Blake used a handgun to shoot Diamond Rice during an argument, causing her death.”
One woman is dead, and another is charged with murdering her in a Walnut Hills shooting late Sunday, court records show.
Cincinnati police responded to a report of a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. in the 2300 block of May Street.
Officers say they found the victim, Diamond Rice, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound and attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
