Two attorneys representing the Rolesville Police Department were shot outside the old Wake County courthouse in downtown Raleigh on Friday morning, one of the victims’ fathers told WRAL News.

The father asked WRAL not to report his daughter’s name while she is in surgery for her injuries.

Gwendolyn E White wrote: “Back in Wake County Court at 10am, reg Rolesville Police Dept stating in open court the Chief ordered the DELETION of all evidence in over 11 crimes against my family, double attempted murder and the pouring of acid on my 90 yo murder Mother Elleen Abrom White last year. 31

“Rolesville Police Dept was ordered by Superior Court Judge to turn all recordings and audios (over 497 CAD Reports and over 31 body cam videos)…;
instead the “Chief David Simmons” put in an affidavit he ordered the ——-DELETED-everything regarding me and Mommie from 12/30/19 to YTD, per their attorney.

That’s —–EX PARTE COMMUNICATION—!”

Both were employed by Fox Rothschild LLP, a national law firm with offices in Raleigh, the father said.

Police and witnesses have said both a woman and a man were injured in the shooting which took place Friday morning as the pair left the courthouse.

Raleigh Chief of Police Rico Boyce said the attorneys were involved in a civil case.

Court records show the Fox Rothschild attorneys were representing Rolesville Police in a 4-year-old case involving officer-worn body camera video.

The woman suspected of firing the shots had been involved in the same case.
