Deputies were called to the home at 3:19 p.m. on May 9 for the report of an abduction. Information received at the time indicated the abduction was targeted by another family member with the intent to leave the area, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and investigators arrived at the home and worked to collect camera footage from residences in the surrounding area. From the video, they were able to obtain images of vehicles and people who may have been involved.
Numerous additional resources were quickly deployed as information was developed indicating the abducted individuals may be in danger. Investigators notified several law enforcement agencies and community partners to include the New York State Thruway Authority, Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and Canada Border Services Agency to ensure they didn’t leave the area.
The New York State Police Special Investigations Unit and their Intelligence Center helped with the AMBER Alert. A county-wide BOLO was also issued.
Due to these multi-jurisdictional efforts, intel led law enforcement officers to a residence in the City of Rochester where all three individuals were located uninjured.

THE FAMILY WENT TO COURT ON MAY 4th TO FIGURE OUT WHATS GOING ON, AND THERE WERE NO RECORDS OF A CPS CASE REGARDING MONA OR THE CHILDREN. MEANING, THE CHILDREN AND MOTHER WERE TOLD THIS WAS A CPS MATTER WHEN IN FACT IT WASNT. JULIE GOLDBERG USED MONA AND MADE HER SIGN DOCUMENTS THAT SHE DOES NOT READ OR UNDERSTAND AND AGAIN WOULD NOT LET THE CHILDREN CONTACT THE FAMILY. SHE HAD MONA AND CHILDREN HIDDEN AWAY IN A HOUSE DEEP IN PERINTON, AND WOULDN’T ALLOW THE CHILDREN TO EVEN GO TO SCHOOL. IN ATTEMPTS TO BE RESCUED THE NINE YEAR OLD WAS ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE OLDER BROTHER AND EXPOSE THE ADDRESS OF WHERE HE WAS BEING HELD AGAINST HIS WILL ALONG WITH HIS MOTHER AND SISTER.
