Tyler ISD Parent Alleges Coach Punched 15-Year-Old Player During Practice

A parent within Tyler Independent School District is speaking out after claiming her 15 year old son was punched in the face by a John Tyler High football coach during practice.

According to the mother’s Facebook post, the incident is not isolated, alleging there has been an ongoing pattern of behavior by the coach toward the student athlete.

A formal police report has been filed in connection to the allegation. At this time, Tyler ISD has not released a public statement regarding the situation.
