Braylen Robinson on the run after being the suspect who killed mother of 5, Kiambria Young

The Albany Police Department is soliciting the public’s assistance with locating Braylen Robinson, who is wanted in connection with two separate shootings.

Robinson is wanted in connection with the shooting that occurred on April 28, 2026, in the 1000 block of South Cleveland Street. That incident left five victims injured, and 31-year-old Kiambria Young later succumbed to her injuries.

Robinson is also wanted in connection with a second shooting that occurred on April 29, 2026, in South Albany. In that incident, a male victim was shot while traveling in a vehicle with a female driver and an infant child. After the shooting, the driver attempted to rush the victim to the hospital and was involved in a traffic collision at Oakridge Drive and Madison Street. Both vehicles overturned, and all involved were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Officers later located the vehicle Robinson was driving and confirmed him as the driver. When officers attempted to make contact, Robinson reversed and accelerated the vehicle in the direction of officers. Officers initiated a pursuit. The vehicle was later recovered; however, Robinson remains at large.

Anyone with information regarding Robinson’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. Robinson should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
