Mom, Corie Walsh, hospitalized as she is prime suspect in the death of 2-year-old child in Frankfort

An unresponsive toddler was discovered at a house in FrankFort on Tuesday at approximately 4:04 p.m., according to Frankfort police.

The two-year-old was taken to a hospital and subsequently declared dead when officers arrived and gave  the child CPR, according to the police.

The mother of the child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being discovered trying to harm herself, according to the police.
