Multiple sources have confirmed to Crime Watch MN that the suspect from the active shooter incident in downtown Minneapolis was Carlton Johnson II, age 35.
Eviction papers were filed against him and all occupants of his unit by Loring Towers in late June.
Court filings indicate Johnson made concerning gun threats to security and others and flashed a gun in his waistband on multiple occasions.
History of prior drug and domestic arrests.
