Ski Mask suspect not yet arrested after he killed Millington High student, Coriuan Bean, during senior skip day in Shelby Farms park

17-year-old Coriuan Bean tragically lost his life today during what was supposed to be a day of fun and memories at Shelby Farms Park.

According to reports, a large group of teens had gathered at the park for what is known as “Senior Skip Day.” What began as a day meant for celebration quickly turned into tragedy when gunfire broke out. Coriuan Bean was shot during the incident and did not survive his injuries. 

Authorities responded to the scene, and an investigation is currently underway. At this time, details surrounding what led up to the shooting remain limited, and officials are working to determine exactly what happened and who was responsible. 

A day that should have been filled with laughter, friendship, and lasting memories has now left a family grieving and a community in shock.
