Chicago Police are investigating a double shooting that left a man dead last night in Chatham.
The shooting occurred around 10:39pm, CPD & Cook County Sheriff’s Police responded to calls of 2 ppl shot. When they arrived, they found a 30-yr-old male outside with multiple Gsws to the leg. He was rushed to UofC Hospital, where he was pronounced 0-1-1-0 (Deceased).
A 31-yr-old male was found in an apartment with a Gsw to the neck, he’s listed in good condition.
CPD says the victims were inside an apartment with multiple males. A verbal altercation brought out and escalated to a physical altercation. Someone pulled out a gun and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
No suspects are in custody as Area 2 Detectives are investigating.
