A woman has been arrested following a fatal stabbing incident in Tsambo East, Barcelona, near Barcelona Park, where a large-scale police investigation is underway after a lady was killed on Sunday morning (26/04).
The victim allegedly sustained stab wounds to her back while attempting to flee, with sources suggesting the motive may be linked to a romantic relationship.

Eyewitness Bongiwe claims to have heard a child screaming upon returning from a gathering in Tembisa and discovered the victim upon investigating the commotion.
Bongiwe further alleges that the suspect, believed to be a Community Police Forum member at Etwatwa Police Station, may have committed the crime over a perceived romantic affair.
Upon confrontation, the suspect reportedly justified her actions by stating the victim was ‘stealing her boyfriend’.
Buyi Ntombela, the deceased’s sister, described her sibling as a quiet individual and expressed the family’s shock and disheartenment at the incident.
A video circulating on social media depicts the suspect sitting next to the deceased, appears crying .
The family is currently at the crime scene, where emergency responders are still present amidst community shock.
