A Davidson County man, Michael Allen, was previously charged with multiple sex-related offenses involving a 13-year-old girl, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office in 2019. Court records indicate the case was later dismissed the criminal charges were not continued in court.
In a separate incident, last Friday, April 17, 2026, a 20-year-old woman, Maleigha Allen, is facing first-degree murder charges after her father, Michael Allen (44), was found dead inside their Lexington, North Carolina home from stab wounds, according to authorities.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing. The woman was also injured at the scene and taken into custody after receiving medical treatment. She is currently being held without bond.
The case remains under investigation as authorities work to determine what led to the incident.
